Once you have installed the Receiver/Workspace application you can access your applications with your normal system credentials by navigating to your normal portal which is either: https://login.procirrus.com OR https://myportal.procirrus.com
Installing on Windows Desktops
When prompted save the 'CitrixReceiver.exe' download.
Find the file from your web download folder and launch it.
Start the installation in the Welcome to Citrix Receiver dialog box.
Accept the license agreement and click 'Next'.
For security reasons, do not enable single sign-on. Just click 'Install'.
Then click 'Finish'.
Logging in to your Applications
Open your browser and navigate to your normal login site.
- If you use multi-factor (i.e. a text code) navigate to https://myportal.procirrus.com
- If you don’t use multifactor just navigate to https://login.procirrus.com
Then log in with your normal credentials. Depending on the browser and computer the first launch of an application may result in other steps. See common other steps below.
Other Common Steps
1. Sometimes, when you first launch an application it may appear as a download on the bottom of the browser. If you see a download file that ends in .ica. Just click Open
2. Then you may you may get a popup with the first application you launch - Choose the Citrix Launcher and click “Remember my choice…” then OK
3. Lastly, you may get a pop-up from your computer asking to allow it to access your computer. This is normal for Citrix so just click “Permit All Access”
The LabArchives Microsoft Office Plugin allows Mac users to integrate LabArchives with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Once installed, you can select 'Open,' 'Save As,' 'Log in,' or 'Detach' all within Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Download the program by clicking the triple dot icon, select 'Downloads', and click 'Microsoft Office Plugin.'

2. Open the Plugin Installer file.
3. Download install mav proxy mac. Select a destination for LabArchives Office Plugin and click “Continue.'
4. Confirm the Installation by clicking 'Install'. You may need to enter your administrator account information.
5. The installation may take several minutes.
6. When the installation is complete click “Close.”
Login to LabArchives
In Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, click 'Login' on the file menu, and enter your login credentials on the 'Authentication' window. Select 'Remember Me' to save your login credentials.

If you are an Australian or UK User, and would like to log into your account, you can do so by following the steps below.
1. Select the “LA Server” tab
2. Click onto the drop-down menu
3. Select https://auapi.labarchives.com if you are an Australian User or https://ukapi.labarchives.com if you are a UK User

Save a file to LabArchives:
- To save a new document to LabArchives, click 'Save as' in the file menu.
- The 'Save Files' window works like the Notebook Navigator. On the drop-down list, select your notebook and expand folders to view a page.
- After selecting a page, name your document and click 'Save'
When you select 'Save' within Microsoft Office, you will see the message below. Clicking yes, will upload the document to LabArchives.

- To open a file stored in your notebook, click 'Open' in the LabArchives File menu.
- The 'Open Files' window works like the Notebook Navigator. On the drop-down list, select your notebook and expand folders of your notebook to view a page.
- After selecting a page, you will see any Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents stored on that page.
- To open a document, select the file and click 'Open.'
If you open a file that is stored locally and there is a more recent version saved to LabArchives, you will see a message like the one below.
Detach from LabArchives
Documents opened from LabArchives that are also saved on your local drive have a connection to LabArchives. If you do not want the changes to be saved back to LabArchives, click 'Detach' in the file menu.

How to uninstall the Plug-In for Mac Office 2011
- Click Finder > Macintosh HD > Applications > Microsoft Office 2011 > Office > Startup
- Under the Map 'Word', delete the file called 'LabArchives.dotm'.
- Click Finder > Macintosh HD > Applications > Microsoft Office 2011 > Office > Startup
- Under the Map 'Excel', delete the file called 'LabArchives.xlam'.
- Click Finder > Macintosh HD > Applications > Microsoft Office 2011 > Office > Add-Ins
- Delete the file called 'LabArchives.ppam'
